Someone gave me this a few weeks ago and as yet I haven’t touched it.  I picked it up today to try to figure out where to start.

Firstly the bigger lens doesn’t even fit the body.

Secondly… when I look through the view finder I can’t see anything (and yes.. the lens cap was off).

Short of throwing a film into this and just pressing the button I don’t know what else to do. If I can’t see anything through the viewfinder I can’t focus and thus all the pictures will be off.. so whats the point?

Can anyone offer any help… or can I send it to someone who would give it a good home and some tlc?

The last three nights, I’ve tried sleeping backwards in my bed.  I put my head where my feet usually go, and my feet where my head normally is.  It seems like it wouldn’t change anything, but every morning for the last three days I’ve woken up in hysterics, wondering where I am.  Anyway, it’s something fun to try.

I sometimes do this when I can’t sleep and I actually sleep better. Must be psychological.

Some nights… when it’s a full moon and the sky is really bright and pretty… I keep my curtains open and sleep the wrong way up in bed… with my head to the window so I can see the bright sky.  I sleep well… but it really confuses the cat…

I mean, I don’t know. Probably Leonard here has a personal assistant running his tumblr and that PA just follows everyone to get the word out that L-Kravitz has a tumblr?

But I’m just going to pretend that Lenny Kravitz enjoys my tumblr. He’s just really into it. He stays up into the early morning hours reading pages and pages of my blog, only stopping to write songs about my tumblr and also to take pictures of his really nice ass.

For his ‘Babel Tales’ series, Danish photographer Peter Funch sets up shop on NYC street corners for two week at a time, taking pictures from the very same spot. Then he Photoshops folks of the same persuasion (dressed in black, dressed in white, yawning, smoking, running, with umbrellas) together into one frame.

Very clever….
